How I Launched an Ebook in Just 4 Hours (Without Overthinking It)
From idea to launch in one afternoon.
Writing an ebook doesn’t have to be complicated.
But we make it that way.
Here are the most common mistakes I see:
Spending hours trying to perfect the structure
Obsessing over trendy templates and design
Trying to sound like an expert with fancy words
All of this slows you down.
And worse? It often leads to never publishing anything at all.
Instead, I decided to keep things simple.
My shortcut: reuse what you already have
If you post regularly online (X, Threads, Medium, etc.), you already have content.
I used my top-performing posts about goal setting to create my first ebook.
You can do the same.
Just check your analytics.
Find what resonated most with your audience.
That’s your topic.
My 6-step system to launch an ebook fast
Here’s exactly how I created and launched a short ebook in just 4 hours:
1. Collect 3–5 pieces of content (15 min)
Pick a clear theme and gather your top social or blog posts.
2. Start a Google Doc (15 min)
Write a:
Rough title
3–5 headlines
Short intro and quick summary
3. Copy, paste, and shape the content (2 hours)
Pull in your posts. Rewrite and connect them into a single flow.
4. Edit and improve (30 min)
Use Grammarly and Hemingway to fix grammar and improve readability.
5. Add simple visuals (30 min)
Optional, but I created a Gumroad cover and some clean graphics.
6. Export as PDF and upload to Gumroad (30 min)
Use your intro/summary as a product description. Hit publish.
Final Thoughts
Creating digital products doesn’t have to take weeks.
Start small.
Use what you already have.
Keep it simple.
You can always improve version 2 later.
P.S. Use my FREE ebook and find your side hustle niche.
Thanks for reading!
