Very helpful distinction between having a goal of starting a successful newsletter: focus on the goal of writing consistently vs. the outcome desired (# of subscribers). Very different energy, focus, and likely frustration. Thank you!

Indeed, That's why I set a reminders/daily goals to perform a small action like write a post, engage etc.

This really hit me. I'm trying to create the best content possible, but I haven't been noticed yet. Now I have hope that it will come.

Yes, that's the right strategy. It's a long game. Keep moving and eventually you will see the results.

I remember once Jay Clouse said that at the beginning his newsletter was growing slowly, 1000 subscribers in 2 years. Now he is getting every new 1000 each month.
